M-GEN is an abbreviation of “Millennium GENeration.” M-GEN was founded in 2006 by Ufuk Tarhan, in order to provide consulting and educational services to institutions and individuals in the area of Personal Future Planning. It is Turkey's first futurist company, and the first company to work in this area and scope. It bases its work on futurist Verne Wheelwright’s “Personal Future” methodology.

Working with a futurist approach, M-GEN bases its work on the necessity for individuals to plan their lives just as companies do, based on a strategy of foresight.

M-GEN supports the idea that the real determining factor behind personal, institutional and societal success is individuals who have a “positive, forward-thinking perception of the future” and “a goal-oriented life consciousness.”
